poor internet connection

i am having the same problems as jagguar and have done all the tips that was suggested for him. I have run repeated scans with diffirent devices and nothing pops up. i ran a hijack scan and nothing under the ordianary came up.
i can acsses some website and not others and for instance can get into ebay but cannot registar to bid. i can check my mail through my yahoo but cant check it under yahoo mail. i had a worm and got rid of it but still do can not acsess certain websites yet my instant messanger still works. my husband is ready to throw this computer through the window can u please help me

 

In internet explorer, click on Tools > internet options> Advanced tab.

Click the "restore defaults" button.

Now check the Privacy tab to be sure it is at "medium."

Do you have any third party software running that blocks cookies?

There's a chance that you don't have cookies enabled.
