Pop-up "notice From Microsoft"

I was on the internet and I received this notice from Microsoft and this voice kept saying, someone is trying to hack into your personal information and listed the things that could be hacked into and that I was to immediately call the number on the screen. I couldn't get this message off the screen and there was something behind this message but I couldn't see it. When I tried to close it, it just kept coming back on so I powered down the PC and then powered back up and ran avast to see if my computer was infected. Interesting enough, when I powered back on I no longer see the message. I am a little concerned that this happened and wondering if you have any software I can download to check and remove an remnants of whatever this was. Thank you Phil

How did you access that voice?
Did you click a link or run a file attachment from email?

Dont entertain anything suspect that lands in all of your domains, especially email and Facebook!
