Pop up problems please help

Hello all 1st time ive had any real problems like this and its thoroughly frustrating.

Ive downloaded a variety of software and ive also followed the steps outlined in the stickys at the top for removing trojans as far as i know, so either am going wrong or its still there.

The problem is a mainly pop ups from quizes and competitions but the main one is from a site called adult friend finder which am not to thrilled about having pop up on my desktop.

Any help that could be provided would be extremely helpful, thanks in advance, ger

Panda Activescan - Give that a whirl and save the log and attach it along with a fresh HJT Log. For the HijackThis Log, please be sure to follow the instructions below:

Note that your HijackThis should be up-to-date (v1.99.1) and MUST be extracted to its own safe folder – C:\Program Files\HijackThis ! Should you need a Fresh Download of HJT, get it HERE: HijackThis v1.99.1

Also note that, before you scan, you MUST close all running programs including your web browser, e-mail and items in the system tray.

Please save your HJT Log as a .txt File and attach it via the "Manage Attachments" tool in the Additional Options section when you post.

Hang in there. The forum is down a volunteer, so BJGarrick is pretty much on his own. . . . Somebody will have a look as time permits.

Hey thanks for getting back to me as suggested i ran the panda prog but it failed to find anything.

Also this may make me soud like a dope for not realising a possible solution but this problem has only seemed to have arisen since in updated warez to the new version last week. However i have never had problems with it before and i didnt take the bundled software that comes with it.

Anyways ive attached a log and any help would be great, thanks in advance.

I see next to nothing in your HJT Log.

These can be fixed as a matter of general cleanup:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {85d1f590-48f4-11d9-9669-0800200c9a66} - %windir%\bdoscandel.exe (file missing)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Uninstall BitDefender Online Scanner v8 - {85d1f590-48f4-11d9-9669-0800200c9a66} - %windir%\bdoscandel.exe (file missing)

This one looks like a Trojan and could be responsible for you issue:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ONCE MEAL] C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\APPLIC~1\MP3FLA~1\Trans heck.exe

Do you recognize it? What about the MP3FLA~1 folder? (The ~1 means that there are additional characters after MP3FLA, but you probably knew that . . .) You'll probably need to fix the entry and delete the folder.

Well that folder appeared and it had files called things like cash intra and stuff like that so i shall delete that key and folder and se if that makes a diff.
