pop ups

Hi,

I went on the explorer web site a while ago and went on add ons, I clicked on utube upload and bbci, from then on I have had pop ups, but these pop ups are always to do with whatever site I am on, eg: if looking at shoes I get a shoe advert, if looking at pc's I get a pc advert, I know that I must have clicked something to accept these arranged pop ups because I read the help appliction in explorer and it said that the only pop ups that can't be got rid of is the arranged ones.

Anyway I have uninstalled explorer and reinstalled it, I have even used fire fox to see if that would stop all the pop ups but it didn't , I also have all the spy adaware that you can get but to no avail. I went through the add ons and saw nothing and I have even looked on the registry.

The only other thing I could do is to format my pc, but I have lots of things on it and it would take ages to put it all onto disk.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

I know you said you have run the spyware programs, but you need to go to the link I posted above and clean your computer, once you have gone through the cleaning. the pop ups should stop, it sounds like you have malware...
