You'll have to go into more detail as to what types of popups, general internet ones or malware types?

In the Internet depending on what browser you use it may already come with popup blocking or you can add a compatible application to stop popups (IE7 and IE8 have popup blocking as does Firefox )


So more info on what Windows version you using and what browser would be helpful?



If its malware or you suspect malware then you will need to run the Read and Run me guide in the malware area of this forum and then start a new thread in malware attaching the requested logs.

 

It depends. If they are malware related, then you should go to the Malware Forum and complete All steps in the READ AND RUN ME FIRST thread.

You might also make sure that your pop up blocker is on on your browser:

Firefox: Tools > Options > Content
Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy
