Popping Audio- Fix??

I just ran the SFC utility & it actually improved a LOT but there is still some popping with audio playback. Unfortunately I had bad info & didn't know I could do a restore. The popping started over a yr ago.

Reading back over your recent posts , I would like to ask you

• Make , and model of your computer -It is then possible that we can help you further.
• I see you have run dism, and sfc, and found some improvement
• Now, I do not see that you tried driver booster-- did you ?

I would like you to look into event viewer- Right click the start , and then left click event viewer (I am in Windows 8.1 at present)
You will get a window similar to this.



If you double click then on + next to the item and you will see something like this--

To save making too many posts-
Driver booster can help solve driver problems, but is not foolproof
So, I would like you to

• Right click start, click Device Manager, and post the picture here.
• You are looking for yellow triangles for faulty/malfunctioning drivers

If you have one, or, more, then you can try rolling back the driver, if it is the audio,and possibly the same if it still has problems with the video, too.
You do this by clicking on the relevent item-say Audio,-and in the resulting box you shoud see both update, and roll back box, if greyed out then you will not be able to roll back
