Popup windows on boot

Hi,

I just acquired a older computer from my girlfriend when we got her a new one.
When I boot it up I get a couple annoying messages that I'd like to learn how to fix.

The first has in its header "Applesyncnotifier.exe Unable to locate component"
This application has failed to start because Corefoundation.dll was not found.

The second has in its header "RUNDLL"

Error loading C:\windows\system32\bsfukoyo.dll The specified module could not be found.

The computer is running XP home, is an emachines s2482. I'm not sure more info is needed, if it is, please let me know.

I dont have any programs in the startup folder.

Also, when I boot...i get a window popping up that says something like "User profile could not be found"

Can I get some advice on how to correct these small problems?

bsfukoyo.dll could very well be malware. They tend to be 8 random letters and insert themselves in the system folder.

The first thing you need to do is be sure the computer is clean.

after one of the malware gurus has looked over all your logs, told you what had to be done and your computer has been declared clean, then come back to this thread and continue with the remaining problems. We'll help get you fixed up but only after we know the computer is not harboring any nasty things.
