Popups!!

    Lately my pc has been getting constant popups. No matter how many times i exit them they just keep poppping up. Also i get security warning messages asking if i want to trust a certain software or soemthing and wanting me to install it, but i click no. I also used hijacked and it found 104 objects...please help me

    Please follow ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

    If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

    NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.

    Often times, you may have trouble removing a virus, trojan, spyware, etc. because system restore has saved it as a check point and it can not be accessed. To solve this, you will need to disable system restore, reboot, scan for the problem and finally re-enable system restore.



    What program should i use to scan my comp after disabling system restore

    Why didn't you read my last message and click the link I gave you? It explains what you are suppose to be doing.

    When i try to update spybot it will not let me.
    It says
    The external application application has been corrupted.
    Please make sure you download the "Update" updater to replace it!

    Our download link had a problem and it has been fixed. Download Spybot again. After installing and updating during installation, run the previous file you just downloaded. If it is named spybotsd131tx.exe, it is an update (not a full version) to the above to fix the DSO Exploit problem.
