Port 80 is already bound on my pc

    I was trying to set up a small website for my LAN to hold a bit of info but i had to use 8080 instead of 80.

    The reason for this is that port 80 is already bound. The port is open and listening but there is no file attached to it.

    How can i disable this binding.

    Im running Win 2k SP4

    is IIS running running another site ?

    nevermind i found the problem.

    SKYPE was using port 80 as an alternative connection method as i am behind a firewall
