Can anyone tell me what is a good and free program that would allow me to monitor what is going through the ports on my computer? Thanx.

DO you want to see what is going across the network (Packet Sniffing) or what connections are open? (port Monitor)

    For port monitoring use ActivePorts

    For packet sniffing use Ethereal

These are MY recomendations and I use these tools all the time, Others might reccomend other tools.

Note: Ethereal or (any other packet sniffer) is really a tool for network admins or other advanced users. Unless you understand the protocols used, reconstructing TCP/IP streams probably isn't going to show you much.

netstat -a (from the command line, via cmd.exe, can show open ports on connections) :)
