I have recently aquried portable Firefox for my 128mb usb drive.

When I try to run it at school, i can browse as far as the intranet but i can't access amy external websites.

the school uses ie and outlook express. when i try to see the network settings on ie, it says it is restricted.

if you could give me any tips on how to view the network settings or a program that can auto detect them, before i ask the microsoft hugging administrators.

    Kasio

Sorry, but possibly that your school is using a Proxy, along with the fact that they have locked down the OS/Network for a reason.
