Possible bug in RemoveIT Pro?

I think there may be a bug one of the newer releases of RemoveIT Pro XT.... if you run the 1st scan, and it finds malware, it will proceed to the in depth scan as usual. It's in the in depth scan that the problem arises.... RemoveIT picks up one of its own files (the uninstaller UNWISE.exe) as something called 'Ultimate Bet' and will remove it, preventing proper uninstallation in the future. The PC I ran this on had the 'Ultimate Bet' in other locations that appeared to be actual malware..... has anybody else tried the new RemoveIT (with the newest database) and had this problem? I'm going to run it again on a different PC and see what happens......

RemoveIT Pro XT there is alot of problem with this software i have seen to much false positive and others stuff, i have remove this thing a long time ago

Yeah- about 2 years ago, I got false positives alot, but the RemoveIT people cleared it up (I thought) and I got really good use from it. But now... hmmm... maybe I'll steer clear for awhile and see if they figure it out...

 

I've used RemoveIt for ages, with no problems so far.:cool

I am using version 4 SE (Build # 7.5.2007) so probably have not the latest version.

They may be able to assist / advise if the latest version is playing up.

They release lots of updates, incorporating new updates of nasties, and probably ironing out any "bugs" at the same time.
