Possible Driver Issue, please help

I have an issue with my computer, where the browser and internet work fine until I do one of two things...

A) attempt to submit a form within the browser
B) attempt to send an email

This occurs in both Microsoft Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I receive emails with no problem. However, emails will not send when I access my email through my ISP at their website or through Microsoft Outlook on my desktop.

When I use my laptop at work, I have no problems. When I bring it home and attempt to use it on my home network, I have the same problem as the other computer at my house.

Please if you have any ideas please let me know.

Hi Meghan, wow this is a curious issue, doesnt seem liked to a Virus or Spyware as your laptop works in work ok!

But I would anyway run your antivirus program and have a look through these steps Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal just to make sure.

My other thought was if you have a Software Firewall that could be blocking access to the internet, but again that would happen in work also... only thing I can think is different is do you have a home router/modem?

Try connecting 1 PC direct to modem only.

Reset Modem ( may have to enter information, ISP logon details again dependant on ISP used )

I had that kind of problem a little while ago, in my case the only different thing was that I eliminate one of the computers. How I fix it? Well I had to reset the Modem.

the problem was the router settings. I had checked it once already, but there was something I missed. Thank-you for all your help.
