Possible Hacked Wifi

    I am seeing a Amazon Tablet, making requests on my network with a client ID 192.168.102.117
    and a host ID 192.168.0.3.
    Since I do not own a Amazon tablet, I am wondering what is going on.
    I run wnetwatcher and it does not show up.
    I appreciate any help.

    I would guess that someone close, neighbor possibly, is trying to use your wifi. I assume also that your router/modem is password protected and each request fails.

    The host changes to portal.fb.com, clients4.google.com, fonts.googleapis.com, edge-chat.facebook.com, mobile.charter.net, safebrowsing.googleapis.com, etc.
    The requests also com on different ports e.g. 80, 161, 443, 5228,993.
    I was wondering if I would be able to block this Amazon tablet? Or should I just not worry about it?

    You should post in the software forum to ask about port blocking and further comments regarding network requests. :)

    ok, I thought this was the right place. I was just looking for reassurance that this wasn't coming from inside my local network. Thank you for your help.
