possible hijack

i think ive been hijacked but im not sure.
when coming online and opening up my firefox browser, my favorites list has been erased. i dont share this laptop with anyone else. i havnt had any other problems but i dont know why my favorites list would be erased.
i have windows 98, and im on dial up.


i did everything in the READ ME FIRST.
ive downloaded hijack this and ran that, can i post my log?

What problems are you currently experiencing?

 

the only problem that i had was that my bookmark list (i only use Firefox browser) was completely erased. i was on earlier today and my bookmark list was at something like 15-20 different bookmarks, and then when i got on earlier this evening they were all gone.
noone else uses my laptop, and i dont think anyone should be able to get access to my bookmark list other then me.
i dont know what would have caused it to be erased and thought maybe i was hijacked

 

Have you run any type drive cleaners other than CCleaner?

 

no i dont think ive run any other cleaners.
i run CCleaner everytime i turn on my laptop before coming online

 

Thats odd! The only thing I can tell you is to do a search for some of them and see if you cant locate them somewhere.
