Possible Trojan or Key Logger Infection Warning!

Yesterday, I downloaded Open Office from the main Apache site then promptly noticed that my cursor was moving independently so I immediately shut down. Somehow, it got past Avast AV ( Free ) and was inspecting my system. Everything seems to be okay but I am not sure that I am not spreading the problem among friends.

What do you wonderful folks recommend? And, yes, I also notified Apache Support via email.

You downloaded OpenOffice from the Apache site?.........can you supply the link you downed from?
