I'm looking for some assistance with a possible wins issue.

I recently implemented a new print server. We have two diffrent subnets at this location and 11 and 12 subnet(s).

The print server has been up and running all week. Late yesterday users reported problems printing and adding printers from this print server. If we try and add a printer to their local computer bu double clicking the print server nothing happens. We can no longer view the network printers to add them to a local pc.

There are also printing problems where users withthe printers installed from the new print server are not able to print. This issues is not happening to everyone, but it seems to be a problem with users on our subnet 12 network.

Can somsone give me some advice on this issue?

    Thanks.

What OS is the print server? Do the Event Logs on the print server have any Warnings or Errors? What is your network? Is it a small domain? NT4? Win2k? Win2k3?

Can PCs on both subnets ping the print server?
