Post A Picture From Your Location

Seeing as we at Major Geeks have our own map which covers the WORLD how about posting picture/s of your area so the rest of us geeks can see what were missing( will also come in handy when we have to track you down ) A short discription would be nice as well.

The first pic is of the mountain at the top of Healy Crk about sixty miles east of Nelson, B.C. Canada part of the Selkirk Range.

Second photo is Trout Lake at sunset again about sixty miles east of Nelson.

This guy has had pants, boots and even custom hair cuts. He has been at the State Fairgrounds as long as I can remember.

My house is between the blue arrows. I DO NOT live in the condos, I live in the real neighbourhood around which the $@%!$#@ condos were built. I used to have 20 acres of woods behind me instead of living on a corner.

Not exactly a proper scenery picture, but aye, it's still from my location!

This is pudgy balls number 3 (Rusty), brother found him in the streets last year, so he joined the gang becuase my mother couldn't ring the RSPCA, he was a wreck, totally ill-treated, scared, etc Now he won't stop smiling and has the energy of 8 year old child, GO GO GO!

Other 2 are Gizmo & Fantasia, Both purchased via pet shop @ $ ridiculouse amounts!

It certainly is a beautiful place....I was 7 years at Ranger Uranium Mine (Kakadu National Park, Jabiru NT) before moving to Central Arnhem Land with my work. (about 4 hrs drive from Gove from the Katherine side)

Great fishing at Gove too, but thats another thread!!

 

Oh, And they MAY look cute, but they are conning!

When ever Kylie and I go over there, we have to watch gizmo in particular (Last one), He will steal any of the toys on the pram, he loves teddy's, he looks the maturest outta the lot, but he ain't, ROFL!

They all now have adult characteristics within there personalities, when mum and dad go out, they CRY!

When anyone goes to the shop, they wait at the door until the return, they will ALL scather and put there heads in the bags looking for a Pigs Ear treat, if it ain't their they will Cry and Sulk (Literally sulk to!!!)

They will not eat dog food, they have HOT meals for tea, they also get served before anyone else, otherwise they will be cranky all night, you cannot have any CHICKEN around them, or they`ll start going hypo over the smell, until they annoy you that much, you give in!

You cannot ignore them when they start doing this either, Or they`ll come up and tap you, if that fails they`ll warn with 2 barks, if that fails, they BITE!

When rusty joined the family last year, he had none of these attributes, although my mother motty coudles them dearly, she has given them no training, they picked it up themselves, and over a period of 4 weeks after Rusty's arrival, he was trained by the other 2!!!

If mum & dad argue, they get upset and Fantasia goes to mum, Gizmo to Dad, and rusty stays in between, and they push them apart, barking viciously at them and actually pushing, which freaked me out when I first witnessed it, it was like they were sayings back off, leave each other alone and think it through first before you get too worked up! Freaky stuff.

They do a lot of other things, including talk, well gizmo is the only one that can talk, its very funny to witness, tasia doesn't, she has a big bark for a little dog though, rusty is picking it up!

 

Here's what I see from my 6th floor apartment windows. Depressing...but, God willing, I'll retire in 4 years to 20 acres of wooded land in the Ozark Mountains in Northern Arkansas and have me a bunch of chickens, and a huge garden.

I'm curious...are most of you people who live in bigger cities HAPPY there?
Or do you ever long for the 'country'?
I am NOT happy in the city...but, it will be fine until I can GET that place in the country.
