Interesting one i found here.

 

I just use a lazer mouse and the top of my desk. No worring about running out of mouse pad there.

 

Hehe, laser mouse ftw, my desk however has holes in the design on top so not the best desk for a laser mouse

 

Someone had too much time on their hands ...

 

I have a track ball on my desktop...no mouse pad...love it!

 

More like way too many mouse pads.

Mouse pads and power cables are the bane of any IT department. Damn things multiply like rabbits.

 

My fave by far. Donated by MA himself during our puter charity project a couple years ago. A bunch of them went to the family, but he said I could keep a few for me (eclayton got a few too). Nice slick surface, plus that adorable mug.

 

Don't use a mouse pad...but you can see my cluttered desk.

Check it out GT...we have the same keyboard...isn't that cool...huh,huh!!

If I had more, I'd gladly send you one. Only got a couple of them, I'd hate to part with em. There more than hard to come by. Picket MA & CP to add them to the tee-shirts and sweatshirts that Jinks is selling. I think they'd sell.

This is one that i had made pretty cheap and have had it for a few years now. The surface is pretty smooth, but the image has faded pretty much so that it's almost a blank black pad lol

FYI, sadly you can't become complacent thinking your doing the right thing, or whats healthy for you, or even that your within the limits of the law. Recently I experienced a horrific injustice. My roommate of many years who is also a medicinal marijuana patient was taken and incarcerated after what was the equivalent to a swat team and hostage situation. We moved recently purchased a house but apparently the neighbors who thought nothing of leaving empty gin bottles on the lawn over night on the other hand decided the odor of marijuana was a source evil moving into the neighborhood. A call was placed, the authorities arrived in force, to say the least and the rest is what i described in the beginning.
He is gone awaiting trial as is a a young woman who is a health care provider who produced the odor by cutting the dried plants.
Since the 30's when it became illegal for a number of different opinions, it is not yet resolved. I'm not going to climb on a political soap box BUT we voted, yet it doesn't matter. Somewhere there is dollars leading the so called moral majority. Ignorance rules apparently. The young men that invaded my home it seems were trained using the film Reefer Madness. It's hard for me to comprehend that in this day and age people consider pot as a drug. Everything is a drug, alcohol one of the worst yet the most acceptable. Excuse me, just looked down and discovered I am in fact on a soapbox after all. I just needed to share my experience thinking after 70 years things finally changed when in fact they have not.......

 

Isn't pot legal in CA? I mean, under a certain amount?

 

There's a lot of variables, what amount your Doctor prescribes, what the county your in allows and to get technical under Federal law it is not.
There was another incident where he had to show his prescription and no problem, different county then. No idea what is going on now. Seems like in high crime areas they treat everything like a major offense. I was shocked they were arrested. But to answer your question, according to Federal law, NO, even though there were no Federal officers present.
You can go to jail for jay walking, spiting on the sidewalk, cussing, take nothing for granted. Until the government, despite the voters, are satisfied they're getting they're fare share there are going to be incidents.
