Well since samurize has been floating around for a while. I thougt it would be nice to see what creative things everyone has done with the program.

I just got time to work on mine. I just edited the Horizon config a little, and changed the colors on the graphics. Hopefully tomorrow ill get some more done with it.

This is so cool! You can view system info, and current stats right on your desktop. You can monitor countless things, and download a ton of configs to make it look just as you want it! Plus its really easy to use!

This looks pretty kewl, I've had it running before but didn't realize you could use graphics with it. Gonna have to give it another shot

here is mine...after overhauling a config

 

i dled a pre-made config from the site to check it out, and when i select it (to apply it and use it) it doesnt show up :\

 

so, down in the systray, your right-clicked the samurize icon, went to Select Config File, and selected teh config file? whats the config file? i can send you mine if you would like.

 

yes, i did that select config stuff
ill hold out on yours, i want to see what i can do

 

make sure read the readme.txt files with each download...thats the ONLY way to get most things working correctly.

 

posting my whole desktop to show what all you can do with this program.

notice the green and orange "LED's" right above the word Memory? those are functioning HD activity "LED's" (notice the different colors than what is in my earlier post)

notice my clock in the systray? thats right...i replaced it with winamp vis.

and on my taskbar, i have todays date, current time, and my winamp/wmp song info.

i added graphics that have functions (shutdown, restart, logoff)...the FarCry logo opens FarCry (duh!)

 

I am in desperate need of help. I keep getting about:blank when i open explorer. Ive tried to download CWShredder but when i try and open it i get a message saying a .dll file was not detected.
I have spybot S&D but it doesnt sort out the about:blank problem
I need to sort this out a.s.a.p.

Can anyone help me???

ok, one, it looks like 've got to get this samurize gig. two, good choice on winamp skin it's the same one I use. three, good choice on artist and song, scatterbrain is a favorite. Need to find out when radiohead is coming back here, greatest concert I ever went to.

 

one...samurize is great. if you use it, make sure your configs aren't too big, you'll use more cpu (obviously...but the use is very low). there is so many things you can do with this program (show tv listings, weather, etc.) two...my favorite color is orange, and this is prob my fav winamp skin. however, it changes based on my visual style. three...radiohead is awesome. no matter what mood you are in, there is a song of theirs you can listen to.

 

Quite true, mellow is the bends, angry is ok computer, crazy is kid a. I love the b sides.
