Posting on Here

Good Day Administrators - small problem - on the last 4 or 5 occasions i have tried to give some guidance on this forum I get to the Edit bit correct my bloody awful typing and then go back to the Software tag and lo and behold my Post has disappeared. What please am I doing wrong - my posts used to appear - have you blackballed me or something?
Show me the way to do it right please you Gurus - on many of the questions on here I have the answers but it seems that I am not engaging the right gears to Post

sometimes posts in their entirety get moved to other forums based where we feel they should be. Like this post. This should have been posted in the comments, questions, suggestions forum. But for now, I will leave it here so you can find it. In the past we'd leave a redirect to the post so you can find it easily, however we've been instructed by the owners to not do this until the next release of this message board software is installed.

Posts don't disappear unless
1. we moved them (and we ARE quick about it)
2. they get deleted..(VERY rare and is usually done only with double postings in more than one forum)

Uh Oh
This last post came out and the one before it concerning a trojan lodging in the win.ini. So something I did with this new thread and a reply to another thread worked. But I would still appreciate a blow by blow way to post a reply because quite a few in the past have lost themselves in cyberspace

there are two ways you can post. You can use the "quick post reply" box at the very bottom. You'll see this at the bottom when viewing a thread OR you can hit the post reply button at the top right or bottom right of the thread. The key to posting though is making sure you hit the "Submit Reply" button.
