First off don't post links unless asked for as they may be infected and/or have spy/adware. By the sounds of it you may want to go to the malware forums and do the Read and Run me first http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 then post all the logs that they request. Make sure you follow and do all the scans.

Hi hellzscream:wave, I think I would be screaming too! After you are finished with bigtrucks sound advice, you may want to put blocks on those senders. That will stop them once you get your computer cleaned. Best of luck to ya, we have the BESTEST Malware Fighters, and they will get you sorted, for sure. ;)

Sadly, it requires only one sent out email on your part to end up on some spamming list. Or, one of your contacts may have you in their address book and their book may have been compromised by some malware.
I had an email address that was spam free for 5 years, then sent an email to a relative in Europe. Immediately I started getting spam, not real bad, 10 a day maybe.
Yahoo, for me anyway, has actually done a pretty good, but not perfect, job of identifying these and putting in the spam folder. I'd say 90 to 95%. Others apparently have different experiences. It may be the source of the spam that determines how well they do.
You said you didn't click on the attachments, which means you did open the email. The spammers use programs that detect when somebody opens the mail, therefore verifying that there is an actual recipient.
If you suspect it is spam, don't open it, that will only bring more.

    Hi

Your are just getting a raft of what at times is random spam/phishing to try and get you to open attachemnts or click links to enter user and password, the crooks tend to target big games like MMORPGs as thats a huge amount of players to target, if they get lucky with 10% falling for the spam/phishing then they are happy.

As you dont use WOW then great just add the sender to the blocked user list of your email service Hotmail info is HERE

Do you use ncsoft.coms MMORPG games? if not then do same as above with that email.

BUT NEVER EVER click a link in an email asking you to change your account details, that link could be spoofed and not lead to the companies site in question, so if you do use a companies service and website, then login your normal route or email their customer service dept for clarification.

I get a fair few of these daily and using postmaster is a cunning plan to make them seem legit, your not infected just a spammer is running random generator to send to multiple accounts, you are more likely to gain spam these days if you use your real name in an account as its easy for them to guess these to send spam too. Not that you should not keep using said accounts, just set up a filter on key words if the email services spamfilter has not already blocked the spammer (services like Hotmail, Gmail are getting better at filtering spam) or block the senders account, while they generate various random accounts to send from at least you start to block more and more.

You where lucky 7yrs without spam, I had one gmail account that lasted 5yrs and now gets 30 a day in the spambox.

Again highly doubt you are infected with malware, its just spam.
