Potential boot issue - PXE error

    Was bringing my system up today and the first time through it stalled midway with an "Intel PXE <some version number> UNDI Error, Check Cable or Connection" message.

    Came up normally on a restart after that, but a quick search of the term brings up pages that speak of ROM errors and boot sector problems. So far this is an isolated occurance, but the potential worries me.

    Might this also be connected to my antivirus' sudden inability to scan my HD boot sector?
