Potential Infection of Mozilla Firefox

I had a problem with my personal computer (Acer Aspire 5920) which I reported on Majorgeeks here.

I checked my PC with the following software (all up-to-date):

• Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
• Microsoft Security Essentials
• SUPERAntispyware
• Trend Micro Housecall

SUPERAntispyware reported that I had ten tracking cookies and it dealt with them. The others reported no problems.

I decided after running these applications on my PC that I’d run Majorgeeks malware removal. In looking for it I came across the thread “Fixing Google Redirection/hijacking and other redirection problems”. Although my web browser (Firefox) hasn’t been redirecting but as my original problem was with Firefox I thought that running these procedures cannot do any harm. My sole minor concern from that procedure is that I don’t understand the final line in the GooredFix log. It might just be reporting a harmless fact or it might be a specific problem.

The rest of the “Fixing Google Redirection/hijacking and other redirection problems” procedure found no issue.

I do intend doing the “READ & RUN ME FIRST Malware Removal Guide (incl. spyware, virus, trojan, hijacker)” procedure but I’d be grateful if someone could put my mind at rest about the GooredFix log (which I attach) or advise me there is a problem.
