Power Bi - Combine 2 Data Points In Chart

Dont know if anyone uses Microsoft Power BI at all?

I have started in last 6 months as good tool for data as its more automated than using Excel spreadsheets, looks a little more impressive too.

Anyways onto my question:

I have a database which was setup for the results of a clinical meeting we have, normally I have imported into Excel the query or main table data to manipulate into visually useful data per year/month and other metrics. The yearly and monthly data needs to be updated into new years and months.

However now wish to use Power BI to do similar as its automatic in majority of tasks, I have figured out most of it and works well, apart from 1 main thing and this is down to final diagnosis of a patient. If I can describe it well.

Database has following fields.
Patient ID, Name, DOB etc
Diagnosis side is Index eye (Right, Left or Both) then for Right and Left eye a diagnosis (bare in mind there are around 70 different diagnosis terms but I only need Wet AMD) in seperate cells.

eg.
Index Eye = Left
Right Eye Left Eye
Dry AMD Wet AMD

What I'm after is to count the Wet AMD listed for Right and Left eye in a stacked coloumn chart, just never comes out right to the data in the database as I know this year we have had 179 new Wet AMD patient so far really doesnt add up.

I should in theory Power BI be able to drag the Date of Meeting and then the Rigth Diagnosis & Left Diagnosis and then filter just Wet AMD for both eyes, just the figures as mentioned dont add up. Likely not explained this well, but if anyone uses Power BI just a hint at how to fix this?
