    Hi all,
My computer keeps shutting down unexpectedly during gaming sessions only. I can leave the PC on for hours and I could also have Winamp, MSWord, plus a few other apps running fine. Its only when I start playing games the PC shuts down. Any ideas??

    Thanxx in advance

Many here are more qualified to help, but my first thought is it sounds like a heat issue.

What tempreture am I looking for?
    How can I check it?
Once I know what tempreture it is, how do I know that it is good/bad?

To find out the temps of your computer you can install Everest home edition It is freeware.

The temps you are looking for are varied but once you have the temps come back and let us know.

Test the temps of your computer before gaming, then test again after gaming for a bit and post both temps.

Aso what is your computer setup? How many case fans, tell us your system specs.

I am sure others will post with beter advice.
