Power Issue

    I just built a new system using AMD Athlon 939 4800 cpu,asus a8v-xe board
    2 gigs ram in an Antec case.
    When I start it nothing works except the power fan,the L.E.D .inside the case is off,the cd-rom,and dvd both don't work.
    I taken the battery out,reset the jumper,reinstalled the battery and I get the same.
    Could it be I need a stronger poer supply?

    what power supply do you currently have?

    Although I would double/triple check you have all connectors firmly attached :)

    Did what you said,something simple to correct the problem,it worked.
