Is there a way to tweek the registry so that I can have more than 5 hours before my computer goes to sleep mode? 5 hours is the most, and the next option is "never"

    Greetings, whicky1978...

That's a good question. I'd be willing to bet the keys are in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings, but I've yet to find the right folder. I'll keep digging...

I always set my computers to "Never" and just us the "blank screen" screen saver. I do so because I have shared folders and printers on all of my computers and I'm too impatient for the machine to wake up when I want something from another computer.

As do most of us - the 'easy' way out...;)

Whicky's a folder - I'd imagine the hibernate/sleep adjustment request has to do with uninterrupted work units...
