power point assistance

I have a laptop with vista and purchased MS office 2007. It only views powerpoint and does not let me generate new presentations. Can someone tell me to download MSpowerpoint that lets me do this. Thanks

 

in order to create ms power points you to have purchased a version of office that has power point. most of the Office suites come with power point except office 2007 basic. If that is the version you purchased you will not be able to create presentations only view them.
