Any opinions on power settings where the Hard Drive auto turns off after a few hours? Good for the system? Bad?
    Thanks, Mike. Win XP

Usually it's a lot more trouble then its worth. It's a feature which is general used on laptops to help the battery last longer. For desktop computers unless you're really trying to save 1-2$ on your power bill per month it's not worth the hassel. It sometimes will give issues about starting the HD back up without rebooting and such.
