I lost the power supply for my laptop.
Bought an aftermarket one & it's working fine.
I have an old Targus PA350 12v power supply that I would like to use in the truck.
Problum??? Targus quit supporting this model long before my laptop was made.
I have found a tip that fits. But it says it's 19.55VDC/3.65A
    Laptop uses 19v/3.2A
What would happen if I try to use the PA350 for power? Will I burn up my laptop?? Will it just run *SUPERCHARGED* ??

Thanks for any insite you might come up with.

Not certain what you mean by "Tip"

But if your PSU supplys 19.55VDC/3.65A that is what the power supply is capable of producing..........the wattage is the maximum it can produce............the VDC is were your problem is; as it is .55 VDC over what you require, which can cause problems........Now you could use a 4 amp resistor to drop the voltage to the 9VDC you require, but electrical knowledge is required to do so properly.
    Hope that Helps
