Looks like the power required to start up is more of an issue than the peak power used when running.

I've had a quick look around the PSU's available in the UK and the lowest price for a decent quality supply suited to your current rig seems to be the be Quiet! System Power 9 400w available from here at £37.62 inc. VAT and upwards from the below (check each one for additional charges/stock levels/delivery etc. before ordering).

No worries, it pays to take as much time as you can before committing, for a full rig it might take me 12 days+ (usually 2-4 multi-hour online search sessions) before putting in the order.

Evo Labs?! Never heard of them, seeing this model 'selling' for sub-£15, which indicates that it's too cheaply built on a probably very old design. PCIe only allows for one 6-pin GPU, which ime puts it firmly below the better 300/350w supplies. Price says it's as bad as CiT - as likely to kill other components as it is to 'power' them. Found one 'review' and that was for a £25 version with a (gasp) red fan: "when i turn it on power suply had short circuit -_- waste of money dont buy it spend 5 or more to buy better one or just find different one".

Your money/components but I'd refuse to buy it for a client of mine.

    I'm curious.
Where did you get this amount?
    That's my total electricity bill!

That's the results from filling out the Outervision calculator. My approximated input for his rig is ~4W lower and results in £59.33 pa for a ~85.75% efficiency (Bronze PSU) without a monitor for 8 hours per day at the default £0.11 per kWh setting. The costs would be considerably higher for a ~70% 'efficient' PSU (shaped object) like the Evo Labs.

The big difference looks like the inclusion of his monitor (older CRT?).
