power supply

    can i use a btx power supply with a atx motherboard.

    Welcome to MGs!! In answer to your question, yes you can use a BTX PSU with an ATX MB. From what I gather the BTX form factor, MB + PSU, is for thermal management that's why the BTX MB is re-arranged....to compliment the BTX PSU. Hope that helps!!!

    Just to add a bit - a BTX PSU will connect to and properly power an ATX motherboard, but, it may not physically fit an ATX case. If full size ATX case, you should be alright.
