Hi, Can anyone give me some advice on a good power supply.

I`m building a system for a mate that will be running off a XP x2 4200+, he'll be using the system mainly for office based stuff, a bit of video editing and music editing, nothing major and no gaming. Wont be flaffing around with neon lights and all that either.

Also need a DVD Burner that`ll cover all the formats and write at about 16x DVD+_

Any advice, (As cheap as posssible) If you need to know the full specs of stuff going in let me know,

    Thanks

I quite like modular PSUs, I got an Ultra XConnect for £28 from Misco, but they've corrected that now, and it's back to £82. :(
The Hiper Type-R is good value at about 60 quid.
Modular PSUs don't have all those extra cables lying around.
Not generally good idea to go for a cheapo PSU, but if money really is tight, look on ebuyer. They have some good PSUs, cheap and not-so-cheap there.
