Power Surge Now Constant Crashes

Hi all,

Got an issue, last night I had a power surge in our area and it tripped all the fuses in the house. This morning the computer would begin starting up, get to the windows startup screen, then shut down, I have managed to get it to now stay on as long as I don't run anything heavy.

How do I diagnose what the problem is.

I would recommend stating the operating system. If it is Windows 10 you can't go wrong with opening
'Command Prompt (Admin)' - Right click Windows icon.
Then run sfc /scannow and see if it finds and fixes any errors.

memtest would be the first one to try.

Is your motherboard speaker plugged in and beeping any type of codes.If so let us know the code.

And please give use the make and model of the motherboard and various parts.
