Power?

Hi Guys,

I have a Problem here with a HP Media Centre M7570.

Issue being a customer has purchased it from us though it is over a year old. The machine Intermittently wont boot, Intermittently crashes & intermittently locks up (Only at his house)

I have had the machine here for over a week. So far Ive
Shut down, restarted, Put into standbye mode
Ran Microscope Diagnostics on the Hard drive, mainboard & ram
Ran 3d Mark benchmarks Various times, Watched movies, listened to music, Browsed the web & basically done everything i can to possibly make the machine fail.. Even ran 2 Instances of Prime 95 for 18 hours & yet I can't make it fail
It has been here serviced before but with no faults

What im wanting is Opinions/Suggestions
1. Is there a power problem in their house?
2. Is this guy nuts & just imagining it?
3. Or have i lost my touch & should i retire to play WOW full time instead of fixing pc's
Please don't choose option 3.. Any constructive advise would be great.

Sounds like the power problem, or if not that, ask him what he is doing with it, as Prime 95 should've caused any problems to show them selves.

 

Yes, I would check the power with a multimeter. Also, check anything he is using at his house that you are not using: power cord, odd hardware, anything that is different.
