Powerquest Drive Image Question/Issue

Evening all. I am trying to ghost my OS drive ( C: ) with Powerquest's Drive Image 2002. The problem I have is that when I tell Drive Image to reboot and make the image, the computer reboots and then XP loads again but no image is made. The program is supposed to reboot to a Virtual Floppy Disk on the hard drive but this isn't happening. Incidentally I am instructing Drive Image to ghost the C: drive to an external firewire hard disk.
Can anyone who has used this program tell me what is supposed to occur once Drive Image reboots your computer? I am new to ghosting and this software and I am probably making a naive mistake.

256MB RAM

I have seen this happen with Norton Ghost, usually it means the program is only finding one disk. How is it setup?

 

I have an internal hard disk on my laptop with two partitions on it (both NTFS) and an IO DATA external firewire 160GB hard disk also with two partitions, (one FAT32 and one NTFS). I am telling Drive Image to ghost to the External IO DATA HDD, NTFS partition. Maybe the DOS virtual floppy doesn't support firewire drives but would that mean nothing happens what so ever as is the case now. The program doesn't even seem to run?

 

I use DI 2002 as well. For me, it has created a virtual hard drive on C:, designated as E: as I have 2 hard drives. It then backs up all stuff from C: to E:

Maybe it doesn't work with an external firewire hard disk. Suggest you contact Powerquest. You may need to upgrade your version. Let us know. Bazza
