Powerstrip Problem With Brightness

Last year I installed Powerstrip, it didnt help much an the only thing it did was lower my brightness at the ms-dos level. Meaning my boot up screen is barely legible. Im finally tired of this effect but no programs will raise brightness in ms-dos so I can see info in the bios boot up screen.


Im sure its a simple solution but Ive tried everything. My brightness controls are maxed in my nVidia cards control panel but they only can raise brightness once Win 98se is loaded. Powerstrip lowered brightness so much that i have to max these controls to see anything.

Man any help at all would be appreciated cause Im about to go nuts. Please help!
