I assume that is points per day? Is (as of this post) 80,383 a good number. Or should I do something to get it higher? :confused

1 caveat - watch your electric usage.
That was the reason, (1 of), I stopped folding.
With my older vid cards, 2 gtx 260 that I overclocked, my electric bill shot thru the roof. I haven't upgraded so I don't know the usage on the newer cards.

 

The numbers I'm using is just from "web control" which now shows me at 104,514 ppd.

 

Well, then I'll check my usage after a month or two. If it gets ridiculous I may stop also.

Its been fun so far. Hope I can keep going.

I'm guessing no one does much folding anymore? I know I can't hit #1, unless #1 quits.

 

You'll shoot through the ranks at the rate you're going. Those are very impressive single machine numbers. We need more folders like you.

Well, I'm trying something a bit different. I've abandoned the idea to get a 3rd video card and instead run ubuntu in vmware workstation. To see if that would boost my ppd. Will check back later on this.

 

15th place. Should take Augie's place in about two days. Obidon will take a bit, 24th of may, and at the end of this moth, should hit 11th place.

 

Rumors state gtx 780 (or gtx titan LE) is around the corner. There is also plan for Titan II out there. No thanks. I'm happy to spend 1k on two cards, not 2k on two.
