Pre-converted DIVX wont burn?

Hi,
I've converted a few movies to Divx (using DR.DIVX) and they play perfect on VLC media player, but when i go to burn them onto a DVD, the burn fails after a few seconds. I tried a few different burning programs and all the same. I also burned a few normal dvd's and they work fine??

I just cant think how to fix this? or even where to look.

 

Hmmm... I've burned many files converted with 'the Doc' to CD and DVD and never had any trouble. Exactly how are you trying to burn the files? Which burning program(s) do you use?

i've been using DeepBurner for a few years with no problems. When it didn't work, i just downloaded another burner software (one that had good reviews) i uninstalled it when i realized that Deepburner wasn't the problem, i cant remember the name of the new software.

I've done it a hundred times before, creating a data disk (DVD) and transfer 3-5 movies onto it. and just click burn


I just cant understand why it burns normal .avi files no problem, but wont burn them once i've converted them to DIVX.:confused
Could it have anything to do with settings in DR.Divx? although i didn't mess about with them, just left the standard settings.
