Prevent Outlook Express from using msn messenger

Hi,

I have a list of contacts in my Outlook contacts. I also use MSN messenger. When i have both running at the same time outlook adds the list of people in my friends list to my contacts list.

This is a major annoyance as i only need the e-mail addresses of those in the contacts list not those in my MSN friend list and instead of having a list of 20 e-mail addresses i have about 50.

How can i prevent outlook from adding my friend list to my contacts list.
