printer crashes

    Hi, I have a toshiba satellite laptor, a kodak esp5. my laptop has windows 7. I have loaded open office 3.2 and everytime I try to print, it tells me OO has crashed and the document has to be recovered. I tried printing a pdf, and I get the same thing. I just uninstalled Kodak printer and reinstalled and it still does it. Please help
