I have a Canon Color ImagecClass MF8280CW color laser printer. It works ok I guess, but one issue I have is that when I print in Windows Photoviewer the images have a pink hue. It seems to be alright using other apps (the ones I've tried so far anyway), but Photoviewer gives me issues. From what I've been able to find, this has to do with two different applications trying to manage the color. I've tried to mess around with the printer's color settings, but can't seem to get it working right. Has anybody ever had an issue like this?

Did it come with software to calibrate the printer?

There are some calibration features within the printer menus, but I haven't found anything that helps. Also, it's only with WPV so I'm sure it's a preferences issue....

Digerati - Thanks for the link. That seems to be more for when the display colors are off though, mine are fine. It's only when I print.

    Probably.
See if you can reset the Preferences to default.

What is definitely odd is the output colors is only off with one program, Windows Photo Viewer. I wonder if these problems are part of the reason Microsoft when to the new "Photos" app, hiding WPV in W10. I note there are lots of Microsoft forum issues and KB articles to fix various color problems with WPV.

What version of Windows are you using?

I know this does not fix the problem but maybe using IrfanView would at least keep blood pressure normal and receding hairlines from receding so fast and more importantly, stop wasting ink by making proper printouts.

Yeah I'm starting to think that just staying away from WPV is the easiest solution. I've always used it though, and never had any issues until I got this Canon printer.
