I have a older kodak printer all in one. AIO 5. It keeps giving me error, print heads missing or not installed. I have cleaned them, unplugged everything, reinstalled printer. Still no luck. All software says up to date. My computer is a Window's 7 operating system. Any help I can't afford another printer.

    Thank you :confused

Are you using offical cartriges or the compatible cartriges?

It may be that the contacts, either in the printer or on the cartridge(s), are dirty or oxidized. If so, then some DeOxit (available at Radio Shack) on a Q-tip might fix the problem.

You can buy a new printer for $50, sometimes less on sale. The only problem is the supplied cartridges do not last very long. A replacement set can cost as much as the printer.
