Printer installation

    Hiya all newbie here be kind :)


    Iam trying to install a printer to my computer
    The printer is a Epson Stylus photo 870

    i plugged it in via usb and powered it up, windows found the drivers and tried to install it however i get the error "the RPC server is unavailable" and the wizard stops without any printer installed?

    Please help :)

    The RPC service is in services.msc. Check there. Also, the drivers should be installed first (especially if there is a disc for a software suite), then install the printer.

    Ive looked in services.msc and found the RPC not running so ive set it to auto, restared pc and still get same error?
