Printer issue

    :confused:
    I have a Compaq IJ300.
    I used to have a pc with windows 98.
    Now I have XP.
    The printer specs are Windows 95 & 98.
    Does this mean I cannot install this printer on my new pc?

    Ya, I tried that and from what I can see (with my very limited understanding of pc's) there is no update.

    Well, given my limited knowledge, I thought there may be somthing for this issue but just don't understand. Just wanted to make sure.
