Printer Misprinting.

Window 10 MS Edge.

1 x Samsung Mono Laser...1 x Canon Inkjet.

All pages are printed with a wide clear gap down centre of the page.

Each line has the first couple of words on the left then the last couple of words on the right.

As if it was only printing in the margins and not on the normal document area in the centre.

Help Please.

PS> Other PCs print OK on the network to the two printers.

 

I'm not sure what the problem may be but I will say recent updates to Windows has created problems for many printer users. The fix is to make sure Windows is fully updated and to make sure you have installed the latest printer drivers for your printing device. So you may need to visit your printer's web page and make sure you have the latest driver.

Second thoughts.
It's two different printers which operate OK from my other PC so will check updates first.

 

Then it's definately a Windows problem.

 

It’s a bug with one of the latest cumulative updates. Strangely it was caused by the fix for another printer problem.
Check for any further updates.

 

Could be. In any case, the bug that didn't fix the original bug has now been fixed.

But do note it is recommended those update be installed ONLY if affected by that issue.
