Printer Not Compatible With Computer

I have a HP Envy notebook and an HP Photosmart Plus B209 a-m printer which will not work on this computer. The computer came with Win 10. Previously had Win 7 which worked. Neither Microsoft nor HP has any updates to make it work as the printer is considered "too old" so no updates currently being made.

Is there any code that can be added to the software of either Win 10 or the Printer to make it work. I do not want to buy a printer right now.

Thank you Replicator but I have tried that file so many times I have lost count. I removed the software after each unsuccessful time so I was starting over fresh. It would not work with USB or wireless. Kept saying printer could not identify a router but the wireless light on it was lit. No where in the documentation of the software does it say compatible with win 10. It states 7 and 8 with some service paks. I dug out my old Toshiba win 7 32 bit computer and downloaded the file for it, using usb. I can print with it but no scan or copy as it is supposed to do. For scan all you get in a lot of long vertical colored lines. I really do not know what to do with this thing!
