printer problem

printer is not working at all....all in one HP deskjet F380. It worked fine for about a month...now nothing. Found "teredo tunneling pseudo-interface" in my device manager. I enabled it and unistalled it. Now my printer will printer from my Word program but still cant print anything off the web sites??????
Any help???????

 

Go to printers and faxes from the start menu and make sure the appropriate printer is selected as your default printer. It should have a white check in a black circle hovering in the upper right of the icon. If you need to, switch your default print device to the appropriate printer by right-clicking on the icon of the proper print device and choosing "set as default". When you print from a website, you should see a drop down menu or a "select printer" section at the top center of the print window that would allow you to choose the printer you wish to print to. It is a good practice to ensure that the appropriate printer is selected before attempting to print. When printing from websites ctrl+p works well.

If you only have one printer it may be best to right click and delete the printer icon of a printer you no longer use to avoid problems.

 

You might want to try system restore and restore it to before your problems started and see if that helps.

Teredo tunneling is a method of tunneling IPV6 traffic over an IPV4 network.

There are lots of issues with it so it is best to make your network is 100% IPV6 or 100% IPV4. Most home users are stuck with IPV4 because that is all their routers and switches can handle.
