Printer problem

I keep getting a printer problem. I have an Epson All-in-one cx6600 and the printer is refusing to print! Investigation in the task manager shows that the spooler has stopped running. I try to start the service but get the message ‘unable to start service, operation could not be completed – Access is denied. Why should I be denied access to my own bloody computer! I am running win 7 64 bit and have been advised by Epson that there are no drivers suitable for this printer on win 7 64 bit???. However, the printer has been running perfectly ok for the last 12 mths or so. Sorry if my comments are not really technical but that’s me! Another message also appeared after task manager>services>services>print spooler> select>start service error message 1053. Any information/help to solve this problem would be gratefully received.
